Service

Mobile Application

Overview

SARATHI Mobile App is a purpose-built clinical application for diabetic foot specialists and their patients, designed to support structured wound assessment, diagnosis classification, and long-term follow-up directly from mobile devices.

The app enables patients to consult doctors through secure chat, upload wound images, manage family profiles, and track healing progress, while doctors use a clinical-grade mobile interface to assess ulcers, classify risk, prescribe treatment, and maintain a unified longitudinal record across online and offline visits.

Challenge

From the client and clinical perspective, the key challenges were:

01

Generic telemedicine apps could not support wound-focused examination and bilateral foot assessment

02

Clinical parameters were captured in free text without structure, leading to inconsistent diagnosis

03

Images of ulcers were stored without standardized clinical context or progression tracking

04

Patients visited both online and offline clinics but records remained fragmented

05

Family members managing elderly diabetic patients could not handle multiple profiles easily

06

Regional language barriers reduced adoption and clinical accuracy

07

Doctors lacked a single mobile view of patient history across visits and treatment stages

Solution

We built a mobile-first diabetic foot care platform that mirrors real clinical workflows and enables structured assessment, diagnosis, and longitudinal care directly from smartphones and tablets.

Patient Mobile App • Multi-profile family management for elderly diabetic patients • Regional language support for patient onboarding and questionnaires • Structured pre-consultation forms covering pain, sensation, wound depth, discharge, infection signs, mobility, footwear, vascular status, and comorbidities • High-resolution wound image capture with time-stamped progression tracking • Secure report upload including Doppler, X-ray, culture, and blood work • In-app chat-based consultations with specialists Doctor Mobile App • Bilateral foot mapping and risk stratification • Clinical classification for DFU, DFI, cellulitis, osteomyelitis, neuropathy, ischemia, dialysis, and amputation history • Digital prescriptions, dressing plans, offloading advice, and follow-up scheduling • Offline clinic mode for nurse-assisted vitals capture and doctor review • Central MRN-based patient record synced across all devices
